Sparks Police look for suspects in Bank of America robbery

SPARKS, Nev. (KRNV & -- Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with the robbery of the Bank of America on Oddie Boulevard.

On January 16, at around 4:45pm, police say two suspects entered the Bank of America, going to different tellers inside the bank and handed them notes indicating a robbery. Both tellers complied and handed the suspects and undetermined amount of cash from their drawers. One of the suspects also allegedly verbally threatened one of the tellers. Police say both suspects then exited the bank and got into a maroon Subaru station wagon with a third suspect who was described a black male adult.

Officers checking the area found the car a short distance away in Reno, but the car was unoccupied and was confirmed to be stolen out of Sacramento.

A witness in the area reported that the three suspects got out of that allegedly stolen car, entered an unknown make and model gray passenger car, and left the area.

The first suspect is described as a black male adult, approximately 28-32 years old, 5'11 tall, 190-200 lbs, black hair, brown eyes, with a goatee. He is said to be wearing a black peacoat, a black Oakland A's baseball hat, and glasses.

The second suspect is described as a black male adult, approximately 20-27 years old, 5'10''-5'11'' tall, thin build, black hair, brown eyes, who was said to be wearing a dark-colored hat and coat.

The driver is described only as a black male adult.

Sparks Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
