Sparks Police looking for man who harassed young girl

SPARKS, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Today around 9:00am, Sparks Police received a call of a male subject harassing a child in the roundabout on S. D'Andrea Parkway.

The reporting party described a subject in a vehicle attempting to contact an elementary school age girl as she walked on D'Andrea. The subject was driving what is described as a black 90s model Honda 4-door with a square-shaped rear end with some type of "spoiler", and a yellow or orange stripe on the trunk lid.

The subject is described as a medium-skin male, average build in his mid to late 20s with a thin face, unshaven and wearing a red shirt. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

It is unknown if this incident is related to similar incidents reported on Friday, Sept. 13. In the first incident, a subject attempted to get the victim into his vehicle SPD Case #13-8647. In the second incident on Sept. 13, the subject drove his vehicle aggressively toward to young girls and topped near them before driving off, SPD Case #13-8677.

The Sparks Police Department is asking anyone with information about these incidents to please call the Sparks Police Department Detective Division at 353-2225 or Secret Witness at 775-322-4900. Please call 911 if you witness anything similar occurring.
