Sparks Police looking for suspect in residential burglary

SPARKS, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- Sparks Police are looking for assistance in solving a residential burglary that occurred on Friday.

According to a press release, officers responded to the area of Palo Alto Circle and Santa Barbara Drive at around 1:45 p.m. on Friday. They received a report of a residential burglary in progress. The female victim reported that a white male adult had entered her home through a rear slider window. The male then ran out of the residence, jumping over a fence to the rear of the house and fled westbound through the area.

The suspect is described as a white male adult, 25-33 years of age. 6-0 and 160-180 pounds with a lean average build. The suspect had dark brown hair and a well groomed beard with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dirty white t-shirt and black cargo style shorts. The suspect also had at least one visible tattoo on the left arm in black ink from the elbow up under the sleeve of the shirt, possibly some type of tribal design.
