Sparks Police searching for suspect in bank robbery

SPARKS, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- Sparks Police are searching for a suspect they say robbed the U.S. Bank on Vista Boulevard.

According to a press release, a white male in his early-to-mid 40's demanded money from a teller in the 2800-block of Vista Boulevard on Friday. The incident happened around 5:15 p.m., and the suspect fled with an unknown amount of money.

The suspect was wearing jeans, a dark colored dress jacket, light colored shirt, a dark colored baseball cap and had some type of mask over his mouth. Officers were unable to locate the suspect, and are still investigating.
