SPARKS, Nev. (AP) — Sparks police say two different CVS drug stores were robbed about five hours apart but they don't think the two holdups are related.

Police say the first robbery happened at the CVS pharmacy on North McCarran about 3:50 p.m. Saturday.

They say the robber handed a note to a Golden Gaming clerk demanding money. He's described as a 30- to 40-year-old white man with a beard. He was heavy set, about 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9 inches tall.

Police say two black men in their mid-20s robbed the other CVS on Sparks Boulevard in Spanish Springs about 8:45 p.m. Saturday. One displayed a handgun in his waistband and demanded money from the clerk.

One was wearing a gray letterman's jacket with black sleeves and the letter "S'' on the left chest.
