SPARKS, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- Sparks Police are asking for your help in identifying a suspect who was involved in a home invasion Saturday morning.

Sparks PD responded to reports of the home invasion around 2:40 am in the 1500 block of G street.

Upon arrival, officers learned that earlier in the evening there was a large party the became out of control. During the party, a male-only, described as a teenager, possibly pacific islander or black male, produced a handgun and pointed it at the crowd.

An undisclosed victim, tried to breakup the party and was struck in the head with the pistol. The victim was treated at Renown Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

According to Sparks Police, after the party dispersed it was believed that the same suspect(s) returned to the residence, kicked the door in and ransacked the residence.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Secret Witness or the Sparks Police Department at 322-4900.
