RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Stephanie Avalos, 14, of Sparks learned of an art competition during her stay at Renown's Children Hospital that could bring $15,000 to the hospital if she wins.
Hosted by White Cloud Facial Tissues, benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, the art promotion is designed to print the winning patient’s art on special-edition tissue boxes to be sold at retail stores, including Walmart, nationwide.
Avalos’ art was selected as one of 10 finalists in the competition. The patient with the most Facebook votes wins. All voting ends Jan. 30, 2013. Click
