Mono County, Calif. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Two men are behind bars after a routine traffic stop turned into a drug bust.
California Highway Patrol officers say around 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 6, 2014 a Toyota FJ Cruiser was spotted traveling southbound on US-395 south of Landing Road at 85 miles per hour; the posted speed limit is 65 miles per hour.
The officer conducted an enforcement stop and developed probable cause to search the vehicle. The officer found MDMA commonly known as ecstasy and concentrated cannabis also known as hash, as well as drug paraphernalia.
Two passengers, Ryan Crabtree and Sean Porter were arrested for various drug violations and booked into the Mono County Jail.
The driver was released with a citation for speeding.
