RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- It may be chilly for the start of spring break, but that doesn't have to stop kids from being active.

Boys and Girls clubs all around Truckee Meadows are hosting camps for kids. While field trips to Roller Kingdom, Fun Quest, lazer tag, and bowling at Coconut Bowl will cost a few bucks, there are camps out there that are completely free. Camps are encouraging parents to register your child online now.

The last minute winter weather makes for perfect conditions to ski. All school kids ages 17 and under can purchase a lift ticket at Mount Rose for a special price of $24. The tickets includes pizza, soda and are valid March 31st through April 13th.
