SQUAW VALLEY, (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Squaw Valley recently donated $75,000 to Tahoe fund and Truckee River Watershed Council.

The money will help continue their work toward preserving the lake and the Truckee river. The donation was made up of contributions from Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows, along with key businesses in Olympic Valley including Plump Jack Sqauw Valley and the Squaw Valley Lodge.

"I hope you will take a moment to gain a deeper understanding of both the The Tahoe Fund and the Truckee River Watershed Council and consider supporting their work, as it is important and very meaningful, both presently and for future generations," said Andy Wirth President and Chief Executive Officer of Squaw Valley Ski Holdings.
