RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) - You may have had your fill of turkey, but some can't seem to get enough of another holiday tradition: shopping.

Many retailers are trying to squeeze as much out of the holiday shopping period as possible. Many stores and shopping centers, including The Summit in south Reno, are expecting big crowds today. Shoppers are using gift cards, making returns or exchanges, while some are trying to cash in on all the after Christmas sales.

Marketing Manager Dan Davis said they are expecting a number of big sales. "Some stores are offering as much as 70% off, 60% off at some other stores."

Some of the other major retailers in the area are offering "door busters." Some opened their doors as early as 5 a.m. to try and make the most out of the holiday shopping period.
