STOREY COUNTY, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- Police are searching for a man wanted in connection to a home invasion robbery in the Virginia City Highlands.

According to a press release, the robbery happened at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Friday. The suspect arrived at a home off of Lousetown Road, and presented himself as an insurance salesman. He pushed his way into the residence, where he bound the homeowner and ransacked the house in search of money. The homeowner suffered a non-life threatening injury and was treated at an area hospital.

The suspect is a white male, approximately 5-7 or 5-8, early to mid-20’s, short black hair, clean shaven, aviator-type sunglasses, and a dry cough. He is considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved button-up collared red shirt, thin blue tie, black or dark-colored slacks, and white athletic shoes.
