Student Enrollment Grows in Nevada by almost 13,000

PUBLISHED 12:00 A.M. -- According to the Nevada Department of Education, the number of students enrolled in K-12 grew by 12,943 for the 2013-2014 school year; bringing the grand total just over 450,000 public school students in the Silver State. The 3% is the largest since 2006. The Washoe County School District has the second largest enrollment at just under 63,000 students.
