RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The "Veterans Upward Bound" program at Truckee Meadows Community College has been awarded nearly $2 million.

The five year grant came from the U.S. Department of Education. TMCC's veteran program was one of 49 programs selected from 300 proposals nationwide.
