UPDATE 2PM - Lyon County Sheriffs say the teen is not endangered. Friends of the teen are not telling authorities if they know anything about the whereabouts of the missing teen.
This is an active investigation.
FERNLEY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Fernley resident Hannah Dawn Rutherford has been reported missing.
National Center for Missing Children is reporting Rutherford as an endangered runaway. She is 17, and has been missing since Dec. 19. She is Native American, 5'6'', 185 lbs. with brown hair and eyes, but when Hannah was last seen, her hair was dyed black.
National Center for Missing Children says she may still be in the local area.
