GARDNERVILLE, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) – A 17-year-old boy and his 17-year-old girl friend are in the hospital Friday night after flipping a pickup truck.
The teens were flown by care flight to Renown Medical Center around 4:30 p.m. Friday.
Douglas County Sheriff's Office is not releasing names because of the ages of the victims.
They do tell News 4 the male was driving his father's truck at speeds of up to 50 mph on a dirt road behind Pau-Wa-Lou school in Gardnerville Ranchos.
Both juveniles were ejected from the truck.
No word yet on their condition. No tickets have been issued at this time.
