Temple Sinai to host the first of many Reno mayoral debates

RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The primary election quickly approaches bringing with it a host of forums and debates. Monday night, 17 of the Reno mayoral candidates will be at Temple Sinai for the first official debate of the upcoming election.

The debate will begin at 7 p.m. at Temple Sinai on Gulling Road in Reno. Tuesday night, UNR will be hosting another forum with 17 candidates confirmed to attend. Tuesday night's 90-minute forum will be hosted by employees from KNPB and the RGJ. They will kick off the process in determining the ten most viable candidate for Reno Mayor.

The ten selected candidates from Tuesday's forum will then be invited to appear in a televised debate on may 29th. This debate will feature social media followers along with reader and viewer voting and fundraising.
