RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- Calling all board gamers. Starting Saturday, you can join a 30-hour board game marathon.

Omega Delta Sigma, the Co-Ed Veteran's fraternity at UNR, is hosting the marathon, and everyone is welcome to stop by. The minimum entry fee is $15. Kids under 18 are welcome, but any player under 10 needs a chaperone.

Organizers say they are excited for the first ever board game marathon. "If you come in, you'll find everyone mingling, having a good time, meeting new people and learning about the veteran's presence in the community," said Vincent Rivera.

The marathon will be held at Merwin's Game Shop on Kietzke Lane at 10 a.m. on Saturday, and will run until 3 p.m. on Sunday. Proceeds benefit the Veterans Guest House, which helps veterans and their families while they are undergoing medical care in our area.
