Reno, NV ( -- Former Nevada Defensive Back, Khalid Wooten, was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the 6th round (202nd overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft. Khalid started all 13 games his senior season at Nevada and finished with 53 tackles, two interceptions and a sack. Those numbers earned him a spot in the East-West Shrine game.
The former Pack cornerback will be heading to rookie camp this week with the Titans. He's in southern California right now, training and hanging out with his family before camp begins.
We were able to interview Khalid over the phone.  Here is a three part interview which includes his reaction to the NFL Draft, what the Tennessee Titans like about him and how big of a jump it’s going to be from college to the NFL.
