LYON COUNTY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Nevada Highway Patrol is responding to a three car crash on Highway 50 at Roys Road.

There are no injuries. NHP is still looking into the cause of this crash. No roads are blocked at this time. News 4 will bring you more information as it becomes available.

Its really a surprise that news 4 takes no interest in the rural areas of Nevada. This accident didn't take a life so I guess the story was of no interest to those living in RENO or LAS VEGAS. The rural areas of NV are equally important for news stories even if the news stations that are supposed to cover this area feel the rural areas are unimportant and have nothing important to contribute to this state. I guess you have to live in Reno, or Las Vegas to become news worthy if there is anything going on. It sure does not take a death to get a crew out here to keep the residents in this part of the state up to date on what is going on.
