RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The Tips for Pets event at Claim Jumper raised $2,293 for the Nevada Humane Society, and one dog was adopted.
Additionally, 950 pounds of pet food was collected, as well as pet toys, treats, and blankets too. Members of the Nevada Highway Patrol, Nevada Air National Guard, and media personalities who volunteered their time were paired up with a server inside the restaurant while others helped promote and hold some of the adoptable pets’ outside.
