Train at Idlewild Park open for business

RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The train at Idlewild Park is no longer idle, it got back on the track in April after being temporarily out of service.

Beginning Tuesday, May 27, the train will run through the summer and operate Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., including state holidays. Weekend hours will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m, and the train at Idlewild Park won't be closing up shop until September 1st.

The cost to ride is $2 per person, children ages two and younger can ride for free. Tickets may be purchased on site in cash only.
