UPDATE: A cab-over camper caught fire while two men were on a hunting trip. The two hunters tried to put out the fire but it was too late.
Hunters are Nevada residents. The hunters say they have at proper tags, but California law enforcement believes the men may have been poaching and are investigating. There were no injuries.
UPDATE: Multiple sources are telling News 4 it was a travel trailer explosion, and not a aircraft crash.
LASSEN COUNTY, Calif. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - There have been a number of reports of smoke being seen just west of Hallelujah Junction to Lassen County Deputies.
Witnesses say they heard an explosion and then saw a plume of black smoke. The calls are being investigated as a possible airplane or helicopter crash, but there have been not reports of any missing aircraft at this time.
