TRUCKEE, Calif. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Truckee Police conducted an underage alcohol purchase sting between Oct. 31 and Nov. 2, resulting in only one business selling to the decoy.
Truckee Police went to eighteen licensed off-sale alcohol businesses in Truckee. The only store to sell to a minor was J&L Food Mart, located at 12105 Donner Pass Road. Police say the clerk was cited for a violation of Section 25658(a) of the Business and Professions Code for selling alcohol to a minor and released with a promise to appear.
