Two Yerington residents jailed after drug bust

YERINGTON, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Two Yerington residents are behind bars following a multi-agency drug bust.

Following a month long investigation into trafficking of methamphetamine into Mason Valley, Silver Springs and Mineral County, a joint operation between the Lyon County Sheriff's Office and the DEA ended with the arrests of Leslie Posada and Armando Bueno Chavez.

Investigators recovered a pound and a half of meth, three stolen firearms, various other stolen property and more than $4,000 in cash.

Both suspects are being held on 200,000 bail.
