CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Two people have been arrested after a series of car thefts.

Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong says Daniel Maxfield and Lenox Leonel Lacour went on a car theft spree yesterday, stealing cars that were warming up. Furlong says they would steal a car and leave the last one they stole behind.

According to Furlong, a total of four cars were stolen in the area of Airport Road and Menlo Drive in Carson City.

Both face possession of stolen property charges.

Furlong says Lacour faces a number of other charges including DUI and Hit and Run.

Furlong says the truck they were caught in was the first truck they stole that day.
