PLACER COUNTY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Sunday, two hikers and a skier were rescued in Placer County following the heavy snowfall.
According to the Reno Gazette-Journal, the Placer County Sheriff's Office confirms two hikers were caught in waist deep snow about a mile into their hike. The hikers called for help and were brought to safety at about 9 pm.
The RGJ is also reporting a 61-year-old skier was rescued by ski patrol and Tahoe Nordic Search and Rescue after becoming lost at Homewood Mountain Resort.
No injuries have been reported to either the hikers or the skier.
