LAKE TAHOE, Calif. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The U.S. Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit invites you to ski with a ranger.
On the tour, participants will learn about the mission and role of the Forest Service in ski area management, and learn about taking care of the environment.
Tours begin Jan. 18, 2013, and continue through April 12, 2013, weather permitting.
Tours are offered twice daily on Mondays and Fridays at 10am or 1pm.
The tour lasts approximately one hour and is open to Heavenly Mountain Resort guests who are intermediate level and above skiers and snowboarders. No reservations are required.
