RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The University of Nevada, School of Medicine, will be holding a free clinic for children Aug. 26 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Student Outreach Clinics are a free service providing much needed care for Washoe County’s medically uninsured population. Clinics will offer physicals for work or school, EKGs, blood pressure monitoring, referrals and selected lab services at discounted fees.
Tuesday's clinic will be held at the School of Medicine’s Family Medicine Center, located on the UNR campus just north of Mackay Stadium off of North Virginia Street. The RTC bus route 7 to North Virginia Street, as well as the free Sierra Spirit bus, are both being recommended.
University of Nevada School of Medicine offers monthly Student Outreach Clinics providing free care to the medically uninsured. No appointment is necessary for clinic patients who are seen on a first come, first served basis. Early arrival is recommended. Spanish translators are available as needed.
