Ah, come on. A little hazing is good for group bonding. This hazing usually involves a wooden paddle and some girl's bare butt. Put it on youtube and it will likely go viral and increase UNR's admission levels substantially!

The Nevada Sagebrush is the single worst and most erroneous sorry excuse for journalism in this city, this state and the entirety of university reporting; the fact checking and proof reading of the Sagebrush are on par with the National Enquirer. The fact that this story has received considerable coverage and attention is sickening. It is completely standard practice to temporarily suspend a chapters activities in order to properly exercise due process and thorough independent investigation of the facts. The air time this story has received in itself has done damage to a sorority that may have done nothing wrong, and the Nevada Greek population as a whole. I think it would behoove News 4 to postpone reporting on a story until they had proven, let alone tangible, facts as opposed to gross speculation and aleatory claims.

This story is so great and so accurate.. especially because the source is from The Nevada Sagebrush, a newspaper that is infamous for multiple inaccurate stories. From the "knife fight" in the dorms last year to the "HIV Outbreak" in the dorms. It seems like they just can't find any better news than gossip. News stations... please get your facts straight because this constant distribution of false news is like the boy who cried wolf. As a Junior unaffiliated with Greek life, I am embarrassed that this is even a story to tell. The University of Nevada, Reno has achieved so much in sports and academic achievements; however, I guess only bad news is news these days.
