RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A spokesperson with UNR says the Stibnite mineral that disappeared from the Keck Earth Science and Mineral Engineering Museum has anonymously been returned.

University Police say the mineral was taken back on April 8th.

It is one of the most valuable and historic minerals at the Keck Museum estimated at $30,000.

The Stibnite will be put back on public display as soon as the investigation into the case is officially closed.
