US Marine remembered in Fernley

FERNLEY, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The life and legacy of a US Marine was remembered in Fernley Friday, after his life was taken in a bank robbery turned murder last fall.

Family, friends and Patriot Guard riders all gathered at the Northern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Fernley to remember of the life of United States Marine Corp Major Bob Sperry. Sperry was killed during a bank robbery the Bank of America on South Virginia Street October of 2013. Tune into News4 at 4, 5 and 6 for more on this memorial.
