RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- Tomorrow is the 22nd anniversary of 'America's Largest Single Day of Giving' and you can help just by leaving non-perishables by the mailbox.

The goal is to collect millions of pounds of food to help the 49 million Americans in need. Last year the US Postal Service collected 73 million pounds of food nationwide. Over the course of 21 years 1.3 billion pounds of food has been collected.

The U.S. Postal Service will collect your non-perishable food by the mailbox, and you can rest easy knowing you've helped someone in need.
