V&T Railroad barrels through Labor Day

CARSON CITY, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Family fun is just around the bend as we head into Labor Day weekend.

The 1905 Steam Locomotive Number 25 is in the spotlight this weekend at the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City.

The historic Virginia and Truckee Train will carry passengers on 30-minute trips departing every 45 minutes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday through Monday.

Adult tickets are $8; Children 12-17 are also $8. Museum members and children ages 4-12 are $4. Children 3 and younger are free.

Trains leave from, and return to, the Wabuska Depot at 2180 So. Carson St.
