RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Sparks Florist is the largest florist in the state and they prepare for Valentine's Day in a big way.
They anticipate they're going to be delivering about 2,000 arrangements by the end of the day.
In order to handle all of the influx of orders Sparks Florist Director of Internal Operations Suzanne Shepherd says they hire 50 plus people for the holiday.
Along with each arrangement Sparks Florist teamed up with John Ascuaga's Nugget for the 12th year in a row. They're offering a two for one deal that comes with each arrangment to one of the Nugget's fine dining restaurants.
Besides being the largest in the state, Sparks Florist is an FTD Top-100 Florist in the country. Shepherd says a lot of their success is due to the strong community support she says for a smaller market they are blessed with how much they've grown.
Sparks Florist has been named the best florist in Reno-Sparks the past 15 years and the local business just celebrated it's 53rd anniverysary.
