RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- It may be a slow-moving economy, but that hasn't slowed down the drive for entrepreneurs, David Kephart and Sven Duerigen. They are the brains behind a new camera mounting device called the Velocity Clip.
"The cellphone mounting industry is becoming huge... We thought we'd come in and revolutionize it," says Kephart.
The Velocity Clip is a hands-free camera mount system that can fit any smart phone, making it easy to instantly edit and share your video on the internet.
The Velocity Clip comes with a head mount, chest mount and gear mount, and a rubber lining helps keep your shot steady.
"It's light weight and very versatile," says Duerigen. "You can take it skydiving or you can take it dirt-biking. Whatever you want to do your phone is going to stay right there in it."
Kaphart explains, the goal is to "be inspired to get out and do something -- to get out and video something that you've never done before."
Some helmet cameras can run you more than $200. The Velocity Clip costs $49 and that includes all three mounts.
"We want people to be able to get an affordable, great product that they can use with whatever they want," explains Kephart.
The Velocity Clip is still in the beginning stages of production. You can to pledge to buy the product online just in time for the holidays by visiting www.velocityclip.com.
