Veteran's Outreach Program "ROVER" to Visit More Areas in March

CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The Nevada Office of Veterans Services (NOVS) Veterans Outreach "ROVER" Program will visit Silver Springs, Dayton and Minden in March to reach out to veterans in the area.

Veterans and military personnel will be able to meet with a Veterans Service Officer (VSO) to learn about benefits and services they may be eligible for but unaware of.

The following dates are:

Tuesday, March 12, 2013
Silver Springs Senior Center
2945 Fort Churchill
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Wednesday, March 13, 2013
Dayton Senior Center
320 Old Dayton Valley Rd.
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Thursday, March 14, 2013
VA Clinic -Minden
925 Ironwood Dr. Suite 2102
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Veterans and family members can make an appointment to meet with a Veterans Service Officer to discuss their benefits. Walk-in appointments will also be accepted. For more information, or to schedule an advanced appointment, contact Pamela Roberts at 775-688-1653 ext. 6 or Barbara at 775-321-4880. Veterans are advised to bring a copy of their DD-214 discharge document and/or current VA claim(s) correspondence. If the claim involves their dependents, veterans should bring marriage and/or birth certificates as well as social security numbers of their dependents.
