SPARKS, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - The Washoe County School District compiled footage of banners, tributes, and other items sent to Sparks Middle School from local schools and from across the country in a video handout. The video attached to this story shows the tributes with "Amazing Grace" being played.

The School District says messages of support have come from all parts of the District and the country. Students from Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT sent prayer shawls, while Columbine High School in Colorado sent a banner bearing signatures of its students. The Air National Guard in Reno sent a picture of Mr. Landsberry with signatures from each of the guard members. Local middle school students sent banners signed by their students: Cold Springs Middle School students traced outlines of their hands and signed their names on their banner; and Depoali Middle School students formed a chain of paper links upon which they signed their names.
