RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- News 4 has an update on our two-part series Vietnam Veterans: Fighting For Care.

Sparks resident Ken Anderson, who served with the Marines from 1967-68 during the height of the war in Vietnam, is getting the attention he has been asking for. Ken was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and Heart Disease, which doctors at the VA have linked to exposure to Agent Orange.

After the News 4 special aired, a full audit was ordered on Ken's file, after he claimed he waited for two years on referrals and needed appointments for Oncology. Thursday, Ken says he will meet with an Oncologist as part of his continuing care.

You can see Part One and Part Two of the Vietnam Veterans: Fighting For Care to hear Ken's full story.
