They wasted most of the money they were already given so why should we give them more? Typical political BS. Gotta do it for the children! I say NO!

They make it sound like "just $8 per month per family" is not a lot. Well for those who are still unemployed in this crappy state or for those who are working but barely making minimum wage which this state is known for, that $8 per month is huge. What has the school district done with prior money they received.I say a big NO to this tax increase.

The School Board has cleverly crafted language in this Bill that would only allow the Bill's Taxation effects to be felt in Washoe County and no other. However the majority the legislature are not from Washoe County and have no reason not to vote for the Bill. The School Board has Deliberately side stepped the voters who have to foot the Bill. A clear example of Taxation without Representation.

I agree NO if you read the items that WCSD say needs repaired where did the 2.5 million per school go to in the last 5 years. Here is the link to the document - http://washoecountyschools.org/docs/legislative-session/2013/school-needs.pdf. There are line items list up to four times for the same repair. WCSD needs to spend there money more wisely not screw over all the home owners
