RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) --The Board of Washoe County Commissioners is set to take on the Ice Bucket Challenge after being called out by the Reno Mayor, Reno City Council and others from social media. Commissioners will take the challenge during a recess at Tuesday's board meeting.

“We thank the Reno Mayor and Reno City Council for including us in an amazing fundraiser that’s raised millions of dollars to tackle ALS,” said Washoe County Chairman David Humke. “We officially accept the Ice Bucket Challenge and we’ll do so during our next board meeting.”

The challenge will take place near the roundabout in front of the Washoe County Administrative Complex, Building A, 1001 East Ninth St., Reno
