WASHOE COUNTY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Washoe County School District is getting the word out about its Signature Academies at area schools.
Next year, the academies will be in all of the district's 12 high schools. The signature programs allow students to get specialized coursework involving a career path they're interested in.
The academies range from pre-med to computer graphic design to the performing arts.
