RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Waste Management of Nevada announced its Single-Stream Recycling cart selection sweepstakes, which offers customers the chance to win a month of free residential service.

Reno residential customers are encouraged to visit reno.wm.com to select their new trash and recycling cart sizes. Once customers complete the quick selection form on the website, they will be entered into a sweepstakes to win one month of free residential curbside service. The sweepstakes runs now through August 15, 2013. Fifty winners will be selected at random at the end of August.

Single-Stream Recycling streamlines and simplifies the process of collecting and sorting recyclable materials for customers and has been documented to increase recycling rates by up to 50 percent. When it rolls out in Reno, customers will be able to recycle additional materials such as, plastics 1-7, cardboard, paper, glass and aluminum. At this time, customers have the opportunity to select one of four different cart sizes options prior to the roll out of the program. Customers that do not select their cart sizes will automatically receive a 96-gallon trash cart and a 96-gallon recycling cart when the program is implemented.
