WASHOE COUNTY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A web program called iWeb has users utilize webcams from personal computers to visit with inmates anywhere in the world. Deputy Armando Avina says the program has been around for a year, and says it has helped reduce security problems.
The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is still trying to push it, although they still hear from people who prefer to want to come and visit in person.
Avina says they've had a couple minor glitches, but it's been very successful.
