Wells Fargo gives Northern Nevada Housing Board revitalization grant

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Wells Fargo bank is helping to give a boost to our area's low income housing.

Today, Wells Fargo officials presented the Northern Nevada Community Housing Board with a $50,000 neighborhood revitalization grant. The money will be used to help stabilize and revitalize neighborhoods hardest hit by the economy.

The Reno Housing Authority plans to use the money to help in the revitalization of the Idlewild townhouse apartment complex.

Today's $50,000 grant is part of a $6 million grant program awarded to 59 non-profit organizations across the country
