Wells Fargo on Pyramid Way robbed

UPDATE - 7/26/13 -10:26AM - According to witnesses, one woman entered the store and produced a handwritten note demanding money from the clerk. The suspect is described as a white female in her late 20’s wearing dark pants, windbreaker (light color on the top half and dark blue on the bottom half) and a San Francisco Giants baseball cap.

The suspect left the bank on foot towards the area of York Way and left the area by unknown means. The loss has yet to be determined.

Anyone with information relating to this case is asked to call the Sparks Police Department at 353-2225 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.

SPARKS, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The Wells Fargo at 2221 Pyramid Way has been robbed.

The robbery happened around 3:32 p.m.

According to Sparks PD Sgt. Detective Greta Woyciehowski, an unidentified suspect walked into the bank and approached a teller.

"The suspect approached the teller and indicated a specific amount of money," Woyciehowski said.

No details were provided on how much money the suspect wanted, or left the bank with.

The FBI and Sparks PD are investigating the case and hope to release a photo and description of the suspect later Thursday evening or early Friday morning.
