CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Dozens of horses will find a new home this weekend.
Tomorrow, Feb. 23, a horse adoption event will be held at 10am in Carson City at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center off Snyder Avenue in Carson City.
Fifteen wild horses from ranges in Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, and California will be offered.
The beginning bid on all horses is $150.
It's the first of three annual adoption events this year.
