SPARKS, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- An attempted robbery at the Rail City Casino has led to the arrest of one woman.

According to a press release, the Sparks Police Department responded to a report of an attempted robbery at the Rail City Casino. Rail City staff allege that 38-year-old Bonny May Miller approached the Player's Club desk with a note indicating that she had a knife and wanted money. Miller was turned away, as there is no money kept at that desk.

Miller then left the casino and walked northbound. A Rail City security officer followed the suspect, and Sparks Police found her in the area of Amigo's Auto Sales in the 2100-block of Prater Way. After a short foot pursuit, the suspect was taken into custody.

Upon being taken into custody, Miller was found to be in possession of several prescription pills for which she had no prescription. She was transported and booked into the Washoe County Jail.
