Woman in Critical Condition after Being Hit by a Car in front of Hug High

UPDATE 11:40 P.M. - Sutro Street has been re-opened. The victim is still in critical condition with an injury to the head.  The incident happened in-front of Hug High during a Football game; according to Reno Police Watch Commander the accident has no relation to the game.
RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - Sutro Street from McCarran Blvd. to Timber Way in Reno shutdown due to a vehicle vs. pedestrian. According to Reno watch commander a woman was crossing the street around 7:41 p.m. a car stopped for her as she crossed the crosswalk, the next car did not stop. The woman was transported to Renown with critical injuries. The vehicle responsible stayed on-scene and police are investigating the incident.
