RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- News 4 has confirmed that a woman has received first and second-degree burns on her face and arms and has been taken to Renown as a result of a potential hash oil explosion on Thursday in Reno.

According to Reno Police, the explosion occurred at approximately 3 p.m. at Balfour Apartments in Reno. The woman hurt in the explosion was in her bedroom at the time, and the explosion was said to be contained only to the bedroom. Two other people were in the apartment at the time and sustained no injuries, and no injuries have been reported from anyone in the complex.

Reno Police cannot confirm that the explosion was caused by hash oil, but said all evidence thus far points to that conclusion. They believe this incident is cause for concern, as it could be the fifth hash oil event in the region.

The bomb squad is currently investigating; no charges have yet been filed.

This is the SECOND "hash-oil" explosion in a month. It's getting to be an epidemic. With a little diligence, these idiots can make this practice extinct, along with those who attempt it.
